WANSync Exchange is installed in the production environment at the central office of Kennedys. Replication between the production and standby server takes place in real time. In the event of a failure of the live server, there are two possible scenarios that could take place: the standby server can be rebooted and it will become the live server and all users will be automatically redirected to the standby server by DNS2 or replication is reversed and data on the standby server is used to recover the failed server.
