WANSyncHA is installed on master SQL servers at Polek & Polek's primary site in New Jersey as well as on server replicas at a remote backup and redundancy site in Austin, TX. The software is then used to establish replication and failover scenarios between the two sites. Real-time replication of the SQL-based VAM application servers and effortless failover to remote replicas in case of any disaster now provide Polek & Polek with seamless application availability.
CPS is a leader in the design and implementation of Internet connectivity and security, toll bypass and multimedia frameworks. One of CPS's largest clients, Polek & Polek, sells parts for printers, faxes, and copiers for the world's leading manufacturers including Panasonic, HP, Lexmark and Canon. Polek & Polek's e-Commerce web site provides access to inventory listings and on-line orders; the site is largely dependent on the company's SQL server-based VAM e-Commerce application. Following the August 2003 blackouts on the U.S. East Coast, Polek & Polek turned to CPS to deploy a solution that would ensure its customers and internal users would not be left out of commission in case of disaster.
